Scottish Archaeology Month
Date:
01 September 2010
Duration:
All of September
Each year during September you can take part in excavation open days, guided tours, exhibitions, lectures, ancient art and craft workshops and much, much more. Events take place all over Scotland, from Shetland to the Scottish Borders, Aberdeenshire to the Western Isles and from the busiest city centres to the remotest of islands.
Scottish Borders Council participates in SAM through Borders Heritage Week. Borders Heritage Week is an annual series of events designed to promote our rich cultural heritage.
