Edin's Hall Broch

The remains of an Iron Age broch, several circular stone walled houses and the double ramparts of an Iron Age fort survive on the hillside above the Whiteadder Water.

Edin's Hall Broch sits within an earlier hillfort and dominates the valley of the Whiteadder. The broch and fort were probably constructed to control access to the nearby copper mines at Elba. A leaflet describing a circular walk to the broch is available at Tourist Information Centres.
